1. Information We Collect

When you create an account or log in through Facebook, we collect the following information:

• Account information: your name, email address, and phone number.
• Facebook profile data: when you log in with Facebook, we receive your public profile information (name, profile picture) and email address as permitted by your Facebook privacy settings.
• Usage data: lesson progress, completion status, and watch time to provide your learning dashboard.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authentication: to verify your identity and grant access to courses you are enrolled in.
• Video watermarking: your email and phone number are displayed as a dynamic watermark on video content to deter unauthorized recording and redistribution.
• Learning experience: to track and display your course progress, enable auto-advance between lessons, and personalize the interface language.
• Security: to detect and prevent unauthorized account sharing, fraud, and abuse.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:

• Supabase: our database and authentication provider, which stores your account data securely.
• VdoCipher: our video hosting provider, which receives your watermark text (email and phone) to overlay on video playback. VdoCipher does not store this data beyond the playback session.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., resolving disputes).

5. Facebook Data

If you log in with Facebook, you can revoke our access at any time through your Facebook App Settings. You may also request deletion of all data we received from Facebook by contacting us or using the data deletion link below.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent for Facebook login at any time.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted database connections (TLS), row-level security policies, DRM-protected video streaming, and rate-limited API endpoints. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
